FUN = done!

This past weekend was history in the making for us.  An opportunity for a lot of people to check out our shop, a chance to celebrate our buddy Jordan Hoffart's recent pro status, a look at a sick new video and an excuse to have a few pops and high five some friends while celebrating the raddest thing in the world = skateboarding!

The night started off with a mellow 7pm showing for the local kids. The Powell guys were pretty beat from a day of skating so they took the opportunity to chill for a bit, sign a few autographs and have a bite to eat. Jordan said a few words to the kids and we were off and running.. 

Once the kiddies cleared, it was time to tear into a few of the 200 beers we had courtesy of Coors Light and get ready for the 9pm showing.  "you expecting many more people for this one?" was the famous last words from Powell's TM Deville.

yeah, I think some people will show" I answered..

And show they did..

So Jordan said a few words to his adoring fans and we were off to the races!!

 I'd estimate we had about 100 people crammed in here!  The energy in the room was electric. Sick skating and beer will do that.  When it was all said and done, I'd say our first big party/premier was a success. Not sure if the neighbors upstairs thought so, but hey its just kids having fun right??

BIG thanks to Deville and the Powell team for being cool with the kids and letting us do this. Thanks as well to the Ultimate Dist. gang for setting this up. Thanks to Coors for the mild hangover and thanks to especially to Jordan Hoffart for being such a darn nice guy and amazing skateboarder!!
