This past weekend was history in the making for us. An opportunity for a lot of people to check out our shop, a chance to celebrate our buddy Jordan Hoffart's recent pro status, a look at a sick new video and an excuse to have a few pops and high five some friends while celebrating the raddest thing in the world = skateboarding!
The night started off with a mellow 7pm showing for the local kids. The Powell guys were pretty beat from a day of skating so they took the opportunity to chill for a bit, sign a few autographs and have a bite to eat. Jordan said a few words to the kids and we were off and running.. (More)

A big motivator for opening on the westside was its history of supporting the little guys. Kits,Kerrisdale,Dunbar and Pt Grey are areas that all seem have a high number of independent businesses and a low number of cookie cutter franchises and big box stores. This is because you all want the best service and you've made that known.
In our minds our "competition" isn't really competition all. When it comes to supporting the community that is. Sure, maybe you can save $5 bux on some shoes or a deck at Boardbeach or one of those other emporiums of all things extreme sport related. But what you don't get is the events, movie nights, lessons, team, service, skateboard experience and so on.
I guess this is just a reminder that the more the Communty supports us, the more we can support the Community.
Thanks From Boulevard Skateshop!

I can pretty much say that Craig helped save my skate-life. When we met some 15 yrs ago I was just about ready to drop anchor on the party boat. (IE: night life, babes and party favours were taking me over.) And my board was starting to collect dust..
After one random skate encounter, Craig convinced me to ditch my scene, move in with him and skate everyday. It was like Betty Ford for skaters. So for that I am eternally indebted.
Adding Craig Williams to the BLVD family was a no brainer.... (More)
