most of you may already know Thrasher is putting on another contest May 30th at one skateboarding's most infamous proving grounds..Wallenberg! Apparently the spot will be no longer soon, so this should be one for the history books.
Well this lucky ducky is gonna be there! Stay tuned for pics and stories from the mayhem!!!
Till then, here's some clips to remind you how just how gnar this place is and what's gone down it

Our pals over at Supra Distribution posted up this sick little vid of some of the team in Barcelona. Opener goes to our newest team bro ...AJ McCallister! Not sure if he told his old shop about the switch yet, but me thinks it'll be ok

Another one of those up and comers that was on the short list when we first opened. Almost shocking to me that he wasn't already riding for another shop, but hey - you snooze you loose right?
Desmond is an East Van loc that's been around for a few years now. The fact that he grew up skating China Creek may come as a surprise to many when you consider his technical style. I can't say I ever saw him carving a bowl or do an epic fly-out in all my time there. Instead he'd sesh the little flat rail, do manny's on whatever junk was around to build with or just skate flat land flipping his beat-out board with beat-out shoes.
Well that was then and this is now. Since the Plaza got built I don't think he ever looked back at China Creek. He's one of the best guys there day in and day out and its finally being noticed by the likes of Adidas, Push wheels and United Clothing.
His trick progression is crazy these days and I'm stoked to support him on his path to skate greatness. Keep it up Des!

Back in the stone age when I was in high school me and some buddies started a band. We figured it was a good way to release our teen angst and of course - get chicks! Unfortunately..we took the brash punk approach while some other guys in our school took the sensitive wussy approach and they won in the babe department. Pfff!!
Anyway, these young Kerrisdale lads from Point Grey high school have the right idea I think. They call themselves Junktion and they rock hard! As hard as kids from Point Grey Highschool in Kerrisdale can rock really. They've been repping Blvd at their shows, so we're backing them in their search for fame, fortune and of course..chicks!
